Mastering the Home Row (ASDF JKL;)

Lock in muscle memory for the 8 core home keys that power all touch typing.

Step 1: Learn the Concept

The Home Row is where every word begins and ends. Left fingers rest on A (pinky), S (ring), D (middle), F (index). Right fingers rest on J (index), K (middle), L (ring), ; (pinky). The center keys G and H are reached by extending your left and right index fingers respectively. Practice in Home Row Practice Drills.
